Canan Alimdar was inspired by the Ionian civilization of Anatolia that had been the cradle of Western civilization, as we know today. She reflected many aspects of the Ionian colonies such as arts, philosophy or mythology in her artwork.

Canan Alimdar, will be in Argos in Cappadocia for the second time to exhibit her newest collection, “Hands on the Hips.” The designer who is inspired by ancient civilizations will meet her fans in a historical tunnel under the thousands of years old monastry. The exhibit may be viewed between June 25-28, 2015.
Canan Alimdar, whose designs are always inspired by ancient civilizations will have her fourth individual exhibit, “Hands on the Hips” at the historic cistern, Nakkas Sarnic. The exhibit will be opened on May 2nd 2015 with a cocktail party and will last till May 16th.

From Wings to Kings is Canan Alimdar’s second individual exhibit will take place between April 28th and May 4th 2012 at Balat Cultural Center. The designer will present her new series of Anatolian Jewelry in Prehistoric Times along with her well-sought series of Vault of Heaven, Mystique and Emperor.
